The LaseMD Ultra Treatment
At our practice, ALL cosmetic procedures and treatments are performed by our double Board Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon Dr. Agarwal. You trust us with your skin, and you will have his expertise from start to finish.
Dr. Agarwal will customize your LaseMD Ultra treatment plan and discuss your precise, evidence-based treatment plan and intensity for your concerns and skin type. With it, he can provide everywhere from mild resurfacing and rejuvenation to a more aggressive texture resurfacing and pigment treatment.
The treatment is relatively comfortable when combined with topical anesthetic and cooling with our amazing Dallas Derm team. You may feel some warmth as the laser passes over your skin, and the treatment is quick and lasts up to 20 minutes.
What does recovery look like?
The LaseMD Ultra Laser involves minimal downtime of a few hours or a couple days of very mild redness, slight swelling, and rough texture depending on the treatment. Most patients return to work or other activities after the treatment. It is normal to experience a few days of very mild redness, a rough texture, and sun sensitivity. Some flaking of top layer of skin and itching can occur, and it is very important to follow our post care instructions to protect your skin and optimize your results!
How quickly will I see results?
Most patients see significant improvement in the quality of their skin after just one session, but best results usually require 2-3 sessions at 1 month intervals. Oftentimes our patients opt for maintenance sessions every 6-12 months to keep up results.
